In the summer of 1993 I accepted the Lord’s invitation to go to Russia for one year and participate in the CoMission project. That project was designed around a school curriculum on ethics and morality based on the life of Jesus Christ. For me, that one year turned into four years.
Following that I was invited to join The Navigators and continued in Russia for another eight years and then another five years in Ukraine. That ministry was focused on evangelism and discipleship among college students using English discussion groups as the main bridge to build relationships.
I left Ukraine in 2010 not knowing what was next, but a year later connected with World Team and moved back to Eastern Europe, this time to Moldova, working on a team with spiritual leaders to develop new communities of believers.
